  • After your arrival to Casablanca airport, you will be escorted to start your Moroccan journey for some of Casablanca highlights including a special visit to the famous Hassan II Mosque, as well as the Jewish Quarter etc.

After breakfast, you will leave for Rabat. A vibrant city with lush green parks, Rabat is entered through the enormous Almoahad Gate to the Kasbah des Oudaias, situated on a bluff overlooking the majestic Atlantic Ocean. Rabat offers a rich historical and cultural heritage. Tour the exquisite 17th-century palace now part of the Musée des Oudaia (Museum of Moroccan Arts), the Andalusian Gardens near the famous Tour Hassan, a 12th-century minaret intended to be the highest and the largest in the Muslim world. Or view the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and King Hassan’s regal palace.

Morning drive to Chefchaouen.
In the North of the country, nestled in the Rif mountains, and a short trip from Tangier is the small picturesque town of Chefchaouen. Founded in 1492 by Moorish exiles from Spain, the town is decorated in a mixture of whitewash and every shade of blue, from pastel sky tones to deep indigos. The effect is dreamlike, making this an extremely romantic place for a couple of days.

Fez is the holiest city in the Islamic world after Mecca and Medina. The largest car free city in Morocco. Founded at the beginning of the 9th century by Moulay Idriss II, and barely unchanged, this enchanting city has been a seat of government, philosophy, medicine and most notably religion since then. Fez, the best surviving example of an ancient Arab city, is comprised of the “new” city, established in the 12th century, and the 2,000-year-old medina, where donkeys and mules laden with goods still trawl alongside buyers through the ancient market, itself a fascinating maze of lanes, blind alleys and bustling souks assaulting the senses with spices and exotic delicacies. Fez is the perfect place to hone your bargaining skills in buying souvenirs, brightly colored hand-loomed carpets or fine crafted artisan goods. Visit the famous leather tanneries, a honeycomb of vats erupting in an explosion of brilliant color. Then, climb to the venerated Merenid Tombs for a spectacular panoramic view of Fez.

  • A day drive through the mid atlas mountains to the last city before civilization ends in that region…….. then you will switch into 4×4 for your Sahara experience.
  • Stop for lunch in Midelt.
  • To follow with an afternoon drive to Erfoud where you switch for a 4×4 ride to desert.
  • The late afternoon, You’ll explore the mystical Saharan landscape as you ride by camel for 1h & ½ over the stunning sugar-fine sands of Merzouga to catch the sunset.
  • As night falls, listen to the heady intoxicating beat of Berber drum music and song during the traditional pouring of mint tea. Delight in a Moroccan feast of harira soup, a savory tagine (stew with meat and vegetables) or couscous, etc.
  • Overnight and breakfast at your luxury tent in the middle of the desert or at the charming Kasbah near the dunes.

After a special Berber breakfast, we’ll take another 4×4 ride to Erfoud to pick up your vehicle and make a special visit to the Fossil Museum in the area. To follow with a short drive to visit the Saharoui Town of Rissani. where You will have stuffed bread with potato, onion and meat etc. locally made lunch at one of the eco-bakery with the locals.

Then, you will depart traveling the rugged Road of a Thousand Kasbahs that rise up like turreted sand castles along this ancient caravan trading route. This area has long been a popular location for Hollywood films such as The Last Temptation of Christ, Jewel of the Nile, and most recently Hideous Kinky. The central region is one of the most exciting and romantic destinations of Morocco nestled along rich river valleys, palmeries and burnished mud-brick homes ablaze in vibrant color under the shelter of the blue desert sky.

  • Dinner and overnight at your charming kasbah near Ouarzazate.

  • You’ll start your morning with a special visit to the famous and world heritage Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou before you continue your adventure along the majestic beauty of the High Atlas Mountains, through the scenic route of Tizi n’Tichka’s lush oasis valleys and mountainous areas highly popular with trekkers. We’ll stop for some photo breaks and another tea break at one of the Berber villages on the way to Ourika Valley / High Atlas Mountains past a pageantry of fragrant, dense pine and cedar forests, terraced farms and sienna mud-brick Berber villages to our homey, charming and Eco-friendly Kasbah Omar at the Berber village of Anrar where you will be staying at for the next 3 nights.

Me and my family along with my senior parents used Discount Travel to go to Spain, and then Umrah. Our entire trip was excellent right down to all the details. We had our own personal tour guide in Spain, with our own personal car to take us to all the historic sites. In addition to that the guide took us to zabiha halal places to eat. Our hotel was Five Star accommodation with breakfast included. All transportation was included, with a 9 passenger van for comfort and space for all of our luggage. We went from Spain to Umrah, and every detail was planned just as we wanted. There was a day to take us for Ziarath in both Medina and Mecca. The Mufti's that took us were excellent, that spoke both English and Urdu. They helped accommodate my dad who needed a wheel chair. I have had the privilege of performing Hajj with Discount Travel as well as recently an Umrah trip and both were a major success for my family. Sadiq Hussain, the group leader(s), and the group scholar(s) worked as one team to ensure smooth transitions between every place we traveled. Sadiq made sure he was available anytime there were questions and hosted a seminar before the travel to help get people ready for the journey. He has deep insights in both cities and provides clean and comfortable experience and accommodations for all the Hujjaj he hosts. Both hotels in Medina and Mecca were excellent and would gladly stay at them again. The breakfast buffet in both were filled with many options and was a great way to recharge and reconnect with the group each day. The ziyarrah trips in Madinah and Mecca were well thought out visiting important holy sites in the vicinity of both cities. There was also a stop at a beautiful date orchard that had delicious and amazing selection. The buses were provided and easy for the group to stay together and bond during both trips. The goal of having a personal connection as well as members of the family including our children connect with Allah (SWT) and have deeper love for Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was achieved both times. ​Thank you very much for arranging our Scotland and Ireland vacation program.
