DAY 02: Explore Beijing

Begin your exploration of Beijing at Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. This vast space has seen many pivotal events, including the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949.
A leisurely stroll leads you to the Forbidden City, the imperial heart of China for over five centuries. This magnificent palace complex served as the residence of 24 emperors from the Ming and Qing dynasties, witnessing the rise and fall of imperial power.
After Salat prayer at Niujie Mosque, visit the Temple of Heaven. Built between 1406 and 1420 by the emperor who also commissioned the Forbidden City, this sacred site was where the Ming and Qing emperors would honor the god of heaven and pray for a good harvest.
Afterward, soak up the lively atmosphere of Wangfujing Street, a quintessential Beijing shopping destination. Blending old-world charm with modern sophistication, this bustling thoroughfare boasts a captivating mix of luxury brands and time-honored stores
DAY 03: Explore Beijing

Your morning unfolds with an exploration of the iconic Great Wall of China. This colossal fortification, a continuous undertaking from the 3rd century BC to the 17th century AD, snakes across China’s northern frontier for an astounding 3,750 miles, from the shores of the Bohai Sea to the vast expanse of the Gobi Desert.
Next, explore the stunning Beijing Olympic Park, a vast China complex built for the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2022 Winter Olympics. Marvel at iconic structures like the Bird’s Nest, Water Cube, and Olympic Tower.
Visit to the Summer Palace, China’s largest and best-preserved royal garden. Centered around Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill, the Summer Palace intricately blends political, residential, spiritual, and recreational elements. It harmonizes the natural beauty of hills and water with man-made structures like pavilions, halls, palaces, temples, and bridges, embodying the Chinese philosophy of balancing human creation with nature. This fusion creates a landscape of exceptional aesthetic value.

DAY 04: High Speed Train to Xian, Explore Xian

Take a high-speed train (approx. 5 hours) to Xi’an. This renowned ancient capital of China marks the eastern end of the historic Silk Road, a crucial trade route linking East and West.

Next, immerse yourself in Xi’an’s history at the Xi’an Museum, which narrates the ancient tales of Xi’an as the capital of 13 dynasties spanning over 1,100 years.

Discovered by accident in 1974, this 2,000-year-old army of over 8,000 life-sized warriors stands guard over the tomb of Qin Shihuang, China’s first emperor. After lunch, perform salat at the Great Mosque of Xi’an, one of China’s oldest and most renowned mosques.
Next, lose yourself in the labyrinthine alleys of the Muslim Quarter filled with street food, restaurants, and the vibrant energy of Xi’an’s 60,000-strong Muslim community.

DAY 06: Fly to Guilin, Explore Guilin

Sheikh Hassan Mostafa Aly
Sheikh Hassan Mostafa Aly is the founder of the Qiam Institute and the former Imam and Director of Religious Affairs at The Mecca Center in Willowbrook, Illinois.
A graduate of the prestigious Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, Sheikh Aly holds a degree in Islamic Studies and Sharia. He also possesses Sanad (Ijazah) in both Qur’an and Hadith, with an unbroken chain of transmission (isnad) reaching back to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Over the years, Sheikh Aly has served as an Imam, religious director, and teacher in various Islamic centers and schools across Egypt and the United States. He is a passionate educator, author, and speaker, having written numerous articles for newspapers and online platforms, and hosted several Islamic radio programs in the U.S.
In recognition of his eloquence and scholarly excellence, Sheikh Aly received the Best Religious Speech Award from Al-Azhar University in 2002. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Theology, continuing his lifelong mission to spread authentic Islamic knowledge and inspire spiritual growth within the Muslim community.
Through his leadership at Qiam Institute, Sheikh Aly aims to build a generation grounded in faith, guided by knowledge, and inspired by the values of mercy, justice, and ihsan.
