Shaykh Dr. Rizwan Ali currently serves as the Senior Imam and Religious Director of the Islamic Center of Naperville, head of the Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies department at CPSA in Lombard, IL, and as an instructor for Mishkah University.
He attended Islamic Foundation School in Villa Park, IL, where he completed his memorization of the Quran (Hifdh). After graduation, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a minor in Secondary Education from Benedictine University.
He then moved to Alexandria, Egypt, where he studied Arabic and Islamic studies and enrolled in Al-Azhar University, earning a degree in Islamic Law. He also completed his Iftaa degree from Al-Salam Institute and holds ijazahs in the Qira’ah of Hafs ’an ‘Asim.
Simultaneously with his Islamic studies, he completed his Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Xavier University and his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Creighton University. Shaykh Dr. Rizwan Ali resides in the Chicagoland suburbs with his wife and three daughters.

Ustadhah Mariyam Syed
She grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, where she later graduated from Benedictine University with a degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education.
Seeking to deepen her Islamic knowledge, she moved to Egypt to study Arabic language, Tajweed, and Islamic sciences. After completing the Arabic language program, she dedicated herself to memorizing the Quran, which she completed in 2014.
She holds a degree in Islamic Studies/Sharia’ from Mishkah University and continues her education as a student of Al-Salam Institute, focusing on Quranic studies. Ustadhah Mariyam currently teaches Quran and Tajweed for women at the Islamic Center of Naperville.
